It has a CE label - specifically it says: PPE Model category L directive 89/686/EEC. Obviously CE labelled helmets are approved in NZ, but I think there might be a bit more to it than that - not digging too deeply though to be honest.
Interestingly, given some of the research on driver behaviour when cyclists wear helmets there might be some benefit wearing a helmet that doesn't look like a helmet!
Being slightly impatient, I hadn't watched all of the video before my last post. Now I have I think I'm going to carry on wearing it the way I have been :-)
I've got one, and that's never happened to me! Maybe I'm wearing to wrong..?
