ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong with Dad and son in Auckland?? At least he's getting out there ON A BIKE with his child. As for the picture of the car, I bet they were going across to the North Shore to do some awesome ride (as there is only the ferry as alternative to the car you can't blame them).
In Auckland it's fairly difficult, yes. But this kind of message is just putting down those who are trying to promote the culture of biking as a family.
My partner and our son and I try and get out as often as we can on our bikes. We love it and we welcome your friend with open arms and a positive wish to make them feel that they too can join the revolution of bike loving families in Auckland.... even if we don't all own a pair of leather brogues....
