There is so much wrong with everything he says that it's impossible to comment on anything ... apart from ...
"is this guy a complete idiot or has he just got his head firmly stuck in the sand and is absolutely ignorant of what's going on in the rest of the world?"
I'm sure the rest of the world will be interested to see how out of touch the 'Boss' of New Zealand really is! It certainly explains why NZ is still so very car-centric when lots of international cities are paddling very fast in the other direction.

ReplyDeleteSorry, I re-read my previous post and it sounded a bit like I was defending John Key. That was not my intention.
ReplyDeleteThe point I'd like to make is that we cyclists must keep pushing the benefits of cycling, as opposed to the dangers; even in times like these. If we are not careful we will face further restrictions on where are how we ride.
Gee am I a complete idiot too, he didn't seem to say much at all apart from where there are cyclists sharing roads there are accidents. Sorry but you have made a comment here but not explained what it is you object to. All you have really said is he is wrong, tell us plainly what is wrong with what he says.
