Devonport ride

I'm trying to catch up with some of the February Bikewise events, so below are some pics from the Devonport ride ...

There was quite a crowd and we ended up splitting into several groups

Some were new to this bicycling lark

Some had a little more experience

There was a variety of 'notice me' approaches from full-on fleuro to loud shirts! ...

... to just plain standing out in a crowd!

We had Frocks ...

Families ...

Pregnant ladies ...

Kids ...

Guys ...

And of course bicycles ... lots of bicycles!



Northshore city council's cycling superstar (Debbie) conferring on the route ... and we're off!

We stopped for some well earned refreshments along the way

And to re-acquaint ourselves with 'terra firma' ... those bicycles can be tricky little suckers!

The bicycles rested under under the pergola

And it was time for a 'group shot' before heading back.
